Hi, I’m Addison, the founder of New Pathways Counseling. My heart behind starting this practice came from a deep recognition of a need, one I saw over and over again in our community: the lack of accessible, faith-based mental health support. Through my journey, including both powerful and challenging experiences with counseling, the Lord placed a clear calling on my heart—to create a space where individuals could find healing, hope, and compassionate support rooted in truth and grace.
New Pathways was born from that vision: to walk alongside individuals, families, and children through some of life’s most painful seasons and offer a new path forward. I believe wholeheartedly in the power of clinical excellence and Spirit-led care working together. It’s my joy and honor to lead a team that not only meets people where they are but helps them move toward healing with courage, strength, and faith.
Outside of the counseling room, I love spending time with my family, enjoying the outdoors. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or continuing down the road of healing, I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.
I’m currently completing my clinical internship here at New Pathways Counseling as I work toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA). With over 15 years of experience as a School Counselor across elementary, middle, and high school settings, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside countless students through both challenges and growth.
This is a meaningful season of transition for me. I’m stepping into a new role as a School Psychologist for Calloway County Schools while also completing my Ed.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Master’s in School Counseling, and an Ed.S. in School Counseling.
My passion lies in creating safe, supportive spaces where individuals can feel seen, heard, and empowered. I draw from my background in trauma-informed care, psychoeducational assessment, and individualized support—but above all, I strive to meet each person with compassion and a client-centered approach. I deeply value the power of connection, collaboration, and the hope that can be found even in life’s hardest seasons.
Outside of my work, I’m a proud wife and mom of four. I love running, reading, volunteering at church, and spending time outdoors with my family. I’m honored to be on this journey of growth and healing—and I look forward to walking alongside you in yours.
I’m Kacie. I hold a bachelor’s degree in education from Murray State and a master’s in clinical mental health counseling. I am now a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), working toward becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
For the past five years, I have taught science at Graves County Middle School. What I loved most about teaching was the privilege of learning my students’ life stories. My goal was to create a safe place so that students knew they were cared for, could talk through their problems, and express their feelings.
God’s graciousness towards me has lead me to the field of counseling. He has revealed to me both my brokenness and His healing. My brokenness brought me to counseling, but His healing met me there. God changed the direction of my life through counseling, and I cannot be more thankful. He has given me a passion for walking alongside people, and now I have the opportunity to do that here at New Pathways!
In my spare time, I enjoy listening to audiobooks, hammocking, and spending time with my friends and family. I look forward to being there with you as you grow on your journey.
Hi, I’m Tyler! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Marriage and Family Ministry as well as a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, both from Campbellsville University. I am currently a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate working toward full licensure (LMFT).
For the past four years, I have served in community mental health, working with individuals and families across McCracken and Marshall counties in both office and school-based settings. From the time I was in high school, my goal has been to find a vocation where I could serve others. Over time, I’ve discovered a calling that combines my passion for working with youth, students, and families with my desire to help people grow into the healthiest versions of themselves.
Through my own spiritual and emotional journey, I’ve learned the power of asking for help and have seen firsthand how God uses imperfect, ordinary people to bring healing and hope. God has shown me how to use my gifts to serve others and glorify His Kingdom. New Pathways has become a catalyst for me to do both—to serve people and honor God under the same roof.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with my wife and kids, spending time on the lake, reading, painting, and drinking good coffee. I look forward to walking alongside you as you navigate life’s many challenges and move toward growth and healing.
Hi, I’m Shae, a clinical intern here at New Pathways Counseling. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Murray State University. I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Social Work at the University of Kentucky, intending to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
My passion for walking alongside others in their healing journeys began through my work as a childcare provider for children with intellectual disabilities, behavioral challenges, and those in foster care. These experiences deepened my desire to create spaces where individuals, especially children, feel seen, valued, and safe. I’ve witnessed firsthand the powerful growth that can occur when someone is supported in a compassionate and trustworthy environment.
By God’s grace, I’ve been given the opportunity to serve individuals from all walks of life. I believe everyone faces challenges, and no one should face them alone. As a counselor, I aim to highlight each person’s unique strengths and walk with them through whatever season they’re in, offering empathy, encouragement, and hope.
Outside of the counseling room, I enjoy exercising, spending time outdoors with my husband, and hunting for good finds while thrifting. I’m honored to be part of your journey toward healing, growth, and renewal.
I’m currently completing my clinical internship here at New Pathways Counseling as I work toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA). With 17 years of experience as a School Counselor, I’ve had the privilege of supporting both middle and high school students through academic, social, and emotional challenges.
This season marks a meaningful step forward as I pursue my Ed.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s in School Counseling, and an Ed.S. with a IIA endorsement in School Counseling all from Murray State University. Prior to my work in schools, I gained experience in community mental health as a case manager for RIAC and First Steps and served as a mental health technician in a psychiatric hospital—roles that laid the foundation for my passion in supporting others through difficult seasons.
I believe deeply in creating safe, supportive spaces where individuals feel seen, heard, and valued. My approach is client-centered and grounded in compassion, connection, and hope. Whether walking with someone through a tough moment or celebrating progress, I count it a privilege to be part of their journey.
Outside of work, I’m a proud wife and mom of two. My husband and I recently celebrated 13 years of marriage, and we’re raising a 17-year-old and a 12-year-old together. An introvert at heart, I enjoy running, reading, and firmly believe in the healing power of a talk with God. I look forward to walking alongside you in your journey toward growth and healing.
Hi, I’m Katie, a Certified Social Worker (CSW) with a bachelor’s degree from Murray State University and a Masters Degree from Western Kentucky University. I will soon be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
I specialize in trauma and substance use treatment and am deeply passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate the complex path from trauma and substance abuse toward healing and wholeness. I believe that behind every addiction lies a story—often rooted in pain, loss, and unresolved trauma—and that true recovery must address these wounds with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care.
My commitment is to create a safe, empowering space where people can reclaim their voices, rediscover their strength and God-given worth, and begin to believe in a future filled with purpose and possibility. Witnessing the spark of hope return to someone’s eyes—after years of darkness—is what drives my work every day. Healing is not only possible, it is a powerful, courageous act—and I am honored to be part of that journey.
Outside of providing therapeutic services, I am a coach’s wife, mom to a little one, and a boot camp instructor. I look forward to providing therapy that integrates clinically sound practices with spiritual support and helping you navigate life’s challenges through the lens of faith and healing.
Hi, I’m Emma, a Certified Social Worker (CSW) with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Louisville, a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky, and a Clinical Social Work Certificate. My passion is creating a safe, supportive space where individuals can grow, heal, and thrive. For the past six years, I’ve worked at Ballard County Elementary School as a substitute teacher and tutor in the after-school program.
My journey into mental health work comes from my personal experiences and the transformative impact of therapy. I know firsthand how powerful the right support and guidance can be, which is why I’m deeply committed to providing that same care to others. My faith has been a constant source of strength, helping me navigate challenges and reinforcing my calling to walk alongside others on their healing journeys.
I believe that each person is unique, bringing their own strengths and challenges, and I strive to meet them where they are. My client-centered approach focuses on building trust, offering validation, and providing practical tools to support emotional well-being.
With faith, resilience, and the right support, healing and growth are possible. Sometimes, all it takes is a reminder of the strength and grace that already exist within.
In my free time, I love reading and spending time with my family. I look forward to walking alongside you as you navigate your journey toward healing and renewal.

I am proud to be rooted in my hometown of Marion, Kentucky, where I am honored to serve my community and surrounding areas. Outside of my professional role, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three children, riding horses, and making lasting memories with my family.
Hi, I'm Lindsey, the Social Media Specialist for New Pathways. Growing up in Murray, Kentucky instilled in me a deep love for community and a passion for lifting others up. I believe in creating lasting change—one act of kindness at a time.
I am delighted to join the team at New Pathways Counseling. I aim to reflect the love of Christ in all I do—whether it's coordinating schedules, supporting the team, or warmly welcoming each person who walks through our doors. I believe that even the smallest task, when done in love, can make a big difference in someone’s life.
Outside of work, you'll most likely find me out on the water kayak fishing, hitting the trails on my mountain bike, or cheering my husband on from the sidelines at the track.
My favorite memories include slow mornings, good coffee, and spending time with our beloved (and very spoiled) dog, Mr. Bean. Whether it's a quiet weekend or an outdoor adventure, I believe in living life fully and with gratitude.
Hi, I’m Lisa! I’m the Office Manager here at New Pathways Counseling.
Before joining the team, I spent many years working in an optometry office, where I had the opportunity to connect with people of all ages and walks of life.
Outside of work, I enjoy thrift store shopping, organizing just about anything, and soaking up the sunshine—whether it’s on walks with my husband or relaxing at the beach whenever we get the chance.
My favorite times are those spent with our two grown sons and their families, especially making memories with our sweet grandson—and, of course, spoiling our grand-dogs.
I look forward to helping New Pathways clients feel welcomed from the very start.
Rather than adopting a cultural norm of wearing a mask to pretend like everything is just fine, I’ll walk alongside you as you learn the value and power of being vulnerable and honest.
